Silk Trends Hairdressing Academy - New courses now available
Welcome to Silk Trends Academy. There are a wide range of courses on offer, from basic hairdressing to advanced cutting and colouring. Courses are designed to cater for all levels, from beginners wanting to develop skills for a career in Hairdressing, to the more experienced stylists wanting to refresh their existing skills. The following courses are available:
New - 9 week 'Simply Afro' course for £845 (saving £140)
Next course starts Monday 9th August 2010 for 9 weeks.

- 'Simply Cuts' (a foundation cutting and styling course) - 6 weeks (1 evening per week) - £595 per person
- 'Simply Colour' (a foundation colouring and styling course) - 6 weeks (1 evening per week) - £595 per person
- 'Simply Braiding' (a foundation hair braiding course) - 3 weeks (1 evening per week) - £295 per person
- 'Simply Natural (Afro)' (a foundation natural afro hair styling course) - 3 weeks (1 evening per week) - £295 per person
- 'Simply Relaxing' (a foundation afro hair relaxing course) - 3 weeks (1 evening per week) - £295 per person

Taster courses
All taster courses will be on a Sunday between 10am and 4.30pm and you must book a place in advance:
Next Taster course 'Simply Braiding (Intro)' Sunday 22nd August 2010 10am til 4.30pm
- 'Simply Cuts (Intro)' (a introduction to cutting and styling) - 1 day session - £180 per person
- 'Simply Colour (Intro)' (a introduction to hair colouring) - 1 day session - £180 per person
- 'Simply Braiding (Intro)' (a introduction to hair braiding) - 1 day session - £150 per person
- 'Simply Relaxing (Intro)' (a introduction to afro hair relaxing) - 1 day session - £150 per person
(Note: you must already have a NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing to enrol on this course

Note:- You must bring your own basic hairdressing equipment kit for the course. All products and material for use during the class will be supplied.
Bespoke courses can also be arranged - from £120 per person per 3hrs session

Our trainer is a qualified and experienced Lecturer of Hairdressing and NVQ Assessor, with over 25 years experience in the hairdressing industry.
All our courses have been designed to National Hairdressing Standards. On successful completion of your course you will receive a Silk Trends Diploma.
